Once again, I am deciding to change something about the format of my blog. This may not make a hoot of a difference to some of you, but I think others may be happy to learn that I am doing away with my lists of upcoming audiobooks and books. I found that some people thought they were links to posts, which they are not, and that they also made more work for me. Let alone the fact that they messed with the results when people tried to search for reviews on specific titles/authors… So, yeah. I am going back and removing the lists from all my old posts, and I will not be including them on future posts either. Fun, fun, fun!

It’s official… I am going to be a Tween and Teen Librarian this summer, so Librarina is going to be “moving up” in the world of Young Adult literature. All this really means is that I will be posting some books for Tweens AND some for Teens.

Well, this link is for “Books for Boys,” but I will be so bold as to suggest that even girls can benefit from using this website — http://www.talestoldtall.com/BooksforBoys.html … The best thing, in my opinion, is that there are summaries mixed into the lists of titles — which are broken down into several sections (by difficulty). There is even a link to a list of picture books. Some other helpful links include “tips for parents” and “tips on enjoying a good book.” Hope this helps some of you find a great book this summer!

Today, while on a school visit to talk to 6th graders at Goff Middle School (Hi guys!), I decided to start a reading blog for my tweens. I like how Jen has a lot of ways to help teens find good books, and I am already addicted to blogging anyway, so this is the next logical step! Basically, this blog will be all about the good, the bad, and the ugly — in tweens literature, that is! Hope this helps all of you would-be readers out there.
