101 Things You Wish You’d Invented… and Some You Wish No One Had by Richard Horne

This book has inventions ranging from the mundane [tooth brushes] to silly, wishful thinking [a teleporter].  For each item, there is a page of factual information — about how it came about or why it has not yet been invented — and a page dedicated to “mastering” that invention.  I learned a lot of interesting, albeit mostly useless, information about a great many things.  This is a good book for sitting down and reading a couple pages when you’re bored, but it certainly isn’t something to try and read from cover to cover in one sitting.  I’m sure it would make an excellent gift for the trivia buff in your life!

Happy Reading!
